I founded Beaconplus in 1998 after eleven years with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where I specialised in developing and implementing cost saving strategies including outsourcing for major organisations. During my time with Accenture, I worked within the telecommunications & utilities sectors, the retail sector and Central Government, for clients such as British Telecom, Cable & Wireless, British Gas, Norweb, North West Water (now United Utilities), and the Department of Social Security (DSS). Prior to leaving Accenture, I worked on a major outsourcing project for the Sears Retail Group, which, at the time, included Selfridges, Miss Selfridge, Adams Children’s Wear, British Shoe Corporation subsidiaries and Sears Property.
I hold an Msc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a BCom from the Copenhagen Business School. I am an active sports person with a keen interest in running, rowing, football, badminton, windsurfing and most recently golf, which I find most challenging and frustrating.
